Whitchurch Alport boss Luke Goddard hailed an almost perfect start to the season as his side ended August top of the table. Alport picked up a win and a draw over the bank holiday weekend, meaning they finished the month with 13 points from a possible 15 – enough to leave them at the summit of the North West Counties League Division One table.
